IMA AUTOMATION designs and manufactures prototype machines and automated production lines for the assembly of components across a variety of industries, including the medical, automotive, and e-mobility sectors. The Role
• Develop robotic applications for automatic machines, robotic cells, and production lines.
• Integrate industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, and intelligent material handling systems.
• Simulate robotic cells and industrial processes within Digital Twin environments.
• Develop control algorithms, motion planning solutions, and trajectory optimization strategies.
• Integrate vision systems and sensor technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with PLCs, motion control systems, and machine platforms.
• Develop and validate system behaviors in simulation environments, managing the transition from virtual models to real-world applications.
• Analyze new use cases for advanced robotics and Physical AI applied to factory automation.
• Contribute to the development of prototypes and Proofs of Concept involving mobile robotics, collaborative robotics, and autonomous systems. Experience & Skills
• Laurea in Robotica, Automazione, Meccatronica, Informatica o discipline affini.
• Ottima conoscenza di Python e/o C++.
• Conoscenza di robotica, cinematica e controllo.
• Interesse o esperienza nella simulazione robotica e nei sistemi autonomi.
• Orientamento alla sperimentazione e alla realizzazione di soluzioni applicabili in ambito industriale.
• Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese. What Will Set You Apart
• Knowledge of ROS / ROS 2.
• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab.
• Skills in Computer Vision, PyTorch, or Reinforcement Learning.
• Experience working with industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, or other robotic platforms.
• Experience in companies operating in the fields of industrial automation, automatic machinery, or system integration. Compensation Package The starting gross annual salary will be €34,000, with the application of the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry. The compensation package may be increased based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
