RINA is seeking a freelance/independent Fleet Programme Manager to provide strategic leadership, programme oversight, governance and delivery coordination for rolling stock and fleet programmes, ensuring alignment with objectives, safety requirements, interfaces, operational readiness and stakeholder expectations.
The assignment is expected to run for a period of up to 24 months and will be delivered through a blended working model, comprising approximately 50% attendance in Ireland and 50% remote working, according to programme requirements.
The role supports fleet delivery planning, reporting, risk and opportunity management, stakeholder coordination, readiness assessments, business cases and approvals, acting as a senior interface between fleet suppliers, infrastructure, operations, systems engineering, assurance and delivery teams.

Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, with at least 10 years’ experience in rolling stock, fleet or railway systems programmes. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on major rail infrastructure or fleet projects, including recent experience within the last three years. Strong understanding of fleet delivery, supplier coordination, infrastructure and operations interfaces, safety requirements and operational readiness. Ability to manage programme risks, stakeholders, reporting, readiness assessments, delivery plans, business cases and approvals.
