Head of Content
· FrontierU Florence, Italy
· Full-time
· In person Expected start date: December 2026 or January 2027 €55,000 annual salary + €25,000 annually through a SAFE Help us rebuild the university FrontierU is rebuilding the university around the technology of today. We exist for highly intelligent, ambitious young people who want to build companies or accelerate into exceptional careers. Our mission is to save them the years and money they might otherwise spend on a conventional degree and give them a faster path to growth. We’re looking for a Head of Content who can make that mission compelling to the world. This is a hands-on founding role. You’ll own our content strategy and social channels, and personally turn ideas into finished work: researching, scripting, shooting, editing, publishing, and learning from the results. The role Before launch, you’ll work closely with the founder to introduce FrontierU, build awareness, and attract our first members. After launch, the focus will increasingly shift to the people, projects, and daily life inside FrontierU. Our primary audience is ambitious young people aged 17–25 who want to study, build a company, or pursue a different path. We also need to reach investors and employers who want to discover, back, and recruit exceptional talent. The creative direction is intellectually sharp, cinematic, and documentary-style: sometimes provocative, always with something to say. What you’ll own
· Content strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X. You’ll decide which stories, formats, and platforms deserve the most attention.
· In-house production: compelling shorts, long-form videos, founder interviews, member stories, educational content, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and experiments such as AI-generated skits.
· The full publishing cycle: ideas, scripts, filming, editing, packaging, posting, community engagement, and performance analysis.
· Our online launch: building anticipation and turning attention into qualified interest and student applications.
· Creative experimentation: testing hooks, formats, pacing, titles, and distribution approaches, then using what you learn to improve the next piece.
· A sustainable production process that lets us publish frequently while protecting the quality of the work. What you bring You have both an excellent filmmaking portfolio and evidence that your content gets results. You know how to shoot and edit. You can find the story in a conversation, capture it well, and shape it into something people want to watch and share. You understand what works on different platforms and how to adapt an idea beyond simply reposting the same video everywhere. You have strong instincts for hooks, retention, storytelling, and distribution, supported by experience growing audiences and launching brands, products, or projects online. You’re comfortable setting direction and doing the work yourself. You bring original ideas, sound judgment, and the initiative to keep production moving in an early-stage company. You also need:
· Fluent English; Italian is not required.
· Willingness and ability to relocate to Florence and work in person.
· The right to work in Italy without visa sponsorship. You can work with your own production equipment, or we can arrange rentals. Why join You’ll help shape how FrontierU is understood from the beginning, working directly with the founder on a mission to fix higher education. You’ll have substantial creative ownership, access to the stories unfolding inside the company, and a share in its upside. Compensation is €55,000 in annual salary, plus an annual €25,000 SAFE allocation, accruing in monthly installments with a six-month vesting cliff. Show us what you’ve done Send us your portfolio and your strongest examples of audience growth or successful online launches. For each example, explain what you personally owned and what happened. Include relevant results, such as retention, shares, audience growth, or applications and sign-ups, alongside the work itself. We want to see your creative judgment, your craft, and your ability to turn content into meaningful results.
