LATAM Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (17219-1-4) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Review technical requirements, refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and break down complex initiatives into manageable deliverables.
• Guide architectural and technical decisions while ensuring consistency across services and engineering teams.
• Lead code reviews, refactoring initiatives, component redesign, technical debt reduction, and performance optimization.
• Improve microservices observability through effective monitoring, logging, tracing, troubleshooting, and reliability practices.
• Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation activities with Security and DevOps teams.
• Mentor developers, resolve complex technical challenges, and promote software engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily meetings, and effort estimation.
• Coordinate technical dependencies and align engineering approaches across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across CI/CD processes, testing practices, technical documentation, and development standards. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Liquibase, and Jakarta EE.
• Solid frontend development experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and SCSS.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with MS SQL Server and/or MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and EKS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of code quality, automated testing, performance optimization, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience providing technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and architectural guidance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English proficiency to work effectively with global teams. Preferred Skills
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog, Grafana, Grafana Loki, and Prometheus.
• Experience with testing and API tools such as JUnit, TestContainers, Mockito, MockServer, Jasmine, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Knowledge of Sonar, Cognito, and JBoss.
• Experience with security and vulnerability management within software development environments.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Custom Skills, and Agents.
• Experience improving engineering workflows, development standards, testing strategies, and technical documentation.
