Job Description
We are looking for a Field Technical Engineer to join our Electrophysiology Team in Italy. 1. Primary Objective of Position The incumbent is responsible for the promotion of Abbott EP Product lines through professional and technical support to both medical and sales personnel. This position is additionally responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott. This position’s primary function is to attend electrophysiology procedures and support any issues related to transcatheter ablation equipment. 2. Roles & Responsibilities â€
¢ Provide technical support and assistance over the whole national territory to the sales force and physicians â€
¢ Perform product presentations and training on products utilization to customers â€
¢ Support physicians during the enrolment and follow up phase of clinical studies â€
¢ Provide support to Regional Sales Managers, FTE Coordinator and Clinical Department for any additional tasks and projects â€
¢ Be proactive in taking Abbott solution-oriented approach to customers â€
¢ Promptly communicate feedback/info on supported electrophysiology procedures â€
¢ Perform booth duty when required â€
¢ Ensure all Abbott standing Quality Procedures are followed 3. Education & Competencies â€
¢ Degree in Engineering (Biomedical or Electrical) or Electrophysiology â€
¢ Good Knowledge of English and Italian, both written and verbal â€
¢ Good knowledge of MS Office â€
¢ Preferable 1/2 years in similar activities (technical support) â€
¢ Interpersonal skills â€
