At Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, we are looking for a sophisticated, attentive, and distinguished Maître, who will lead floor operations and orchestrate unforgettable dining experiences. Primary Responsibilities Include
• Lead daily floor operations during service, ensuring immaculate table setup, smooth guest flow, and luxury service standards.
• Welcome VIPs and regular guests warmly, building genuine connections and handling tailored dining requests.
• Supervise and mentor the service brigade (Chefs de Rang, Commis), maintaining clear communication and high team morale.
• Coordinate timing and communication between the dining room floor and the kitchen brigade.
• Manage table reservations and seating strategies to optimize restaurant capacity and guest comfort.
• Oversee staff briefing sessions, menu knowledge training, and service etiquette enforcement. What You Bring
• At least 3 years of experience as a Maître, Assistant Restaurant Manager in 5-star luxury hotels or Michelin-starred venues.
• Strong leadership, charisma, and refined communication skills.
• In-depth expertise in fine-dining etiquette, wine service, and gastronomy storytelling.
• Ability to handle complex service situations with composure and tact.
