About the opportunity
PeoItaly, an employment agency authorised by the Italian Ministry of Labour, is conducting this search on behalf of a confidential international general contractor delivering mission-critical Data Centre projects across Europe.
We are recruiting QA/QC Leads to join the quality team supporting a major Data Centre development in Bertonico, Lodi:
Electrical QA/QC Leads
Mechanical QA/QC Leads
The selected candidates will be employed directly by the client and work full-time on site.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced construction-quality professionals to take ownership of QA/QC across complex electrical or mechanical packages, following systems from installation and inspection through testing, commissioning readiness, completion and final handover.
Key responsibilities
Establish and implement the project quality-management system for assigned Electrical or Mechanical packages. Prepare and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and quality registers. Plan and coordinate inspections, testing activities and quality audits. Review subcontractor quality plans, method statements, procedures and inspection requirements. Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project standards and ITP requirements. Coordinate inspections with site teams, subcontractors, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning teams. Manage NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists and closure documentation. Monitor subcontractor quality performance and identify recurring quality issues. Review test packs and ensure records are complete, accurate, traceable and appropriately approved. Support system completion, commissioning and energisation readiness, where applicable. Verify final quality dossiers and handover documentation. Monitor quality trends and prepare clear performance reports. Promote practical continuous-improvement initiatives across project packages. Electrical QA/QC scope Electrical candidates will focus primarily on the quality of complex electrical installations, including inspection, testing, completion and energisation readiness. Relevant experience may include: MV/LV electrical systems Switchgear and distribution equipment Transformers and associated electrical equipment Cabling and electrical installations Electrical testing and commissioning Test packs and electrical completion documentation Mechanical QA/QC scope Mechanical candidates will focus primarily on: HVAC systems Pipework Cooling systems Pumps and mechanical equipment Material certification and traceability Pressure testing, flushing and mechanical completion Mechanical test packs and handover documentation Candidate profile We are interested in candidates with: A degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or an equivalent technical qualification. At least five years of QA/QC experience within the relevant Electrical or Mechanical discipline. Experience on major construction, engineering or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans, inspections, testing requirements and quality documentation. Practical experience managing NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists and closure evidence. Experience coordinating subcontractors, quality personnel and multidisciplinary stakeholders. Knowledge of test packs, completion records and final handover dossiers. Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360 Field or a comparable quality-management platform. Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder-management skills. Professional working proficiency in English. Availability to work full-time on site in Bertonico, Lodi. Previous experience on Data Centre, mission-critical or similarly complex construction projects is strongly preferred.
