The Engineer is responsible for preparing the assigned technical documentation under the supervision of the Project Leader or Specialist, ensuring the required quality standards while complying with the assigned schedule and budget. Within the Project organization, the Engineer reports operationally to the Project Leader. Main Activities and

Responsibilities:
During project execution, the Engineer is responsible for:
• Ensuring the quality of the documentation produced and its compliance with the project contractual requirements, assigned budget and schedule;
• Participating, when required, in Vendor management activities for matters impacting project schedule and costs;
• Providing support to the Inspection, Construction and Commissioning Departments, according to project requirements and needs. Within the Department, the Engineer is responsible for:
• Providing the Head of Department with feedback on any issues related to the application of procedures and working methods, and contributing to their update in order to improve department efficiency;
• Participating in technical training activities and sharing knowledge regarding new design techniques with other members of the team;
• Improving his/her knowledge and proficiency in the use of engineering and design software tools;
• Applying AI technologies effectively to work processes, in coordination with the Head of Department or a designated representative;
• Monitoring the market with regard to the state of the art and providing technical and commercial assessments of new products, technologies, work processes, applications, etc.

Requirements:
• Degree in a technical discipline;
• At least 10 years of experience;
• Previous experience in independently managing the activities described above;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Availability to travel within Italy and abroad.

Catania Contract Type and Classification: Contract type: Permanent Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011) Job classification level: White Collar, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement Compensation: The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be 42,920.92€ The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus. Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
