TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Computer Vision Systems Engineer to join its Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit. The selected candidate will be involved in the study, design, and development of algorithms and functionalities for avionics systems, with a particular focus on image processing, object recognition, and target tracking. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the candidate will contribute to algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision techniques. The role will also involve the integration and verification of developed solutions, with a focus on the relationship between sensor data, algorithms, and overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the analysis of system functionalities and the definition of related algorithmic solutions.
• Design, develop, and verify target tracking algorithms for estimating the motion of objects detected by sensors and maintaining their tracks over time.
• Use and validate models and simulation environments, including the generation of infrared imagery.
• Develop software tools for the preparation and management of annotated image datasets for Computer Vision applications.
• Develop methods and tools for performance evaluation and reliability estimation of neural networks based on input data.
• Integrate tools and algorithms into simulation environments, execute tests, and analyze results.
• Collaborate with the project team and prepare technical documentation for developed solutions and verification activities. Required

Skills:
• Strong mathematical foundation with basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
• Programming skills and knowledge of Python or MATLAB/Simulink, gained through academic, personal, or professional projects.
• Understanding of Machine Learning principles and neural networks, acquired through coursework, thesis work, or research activities.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Preferred

Skills:
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, image processing, or dataset preparation.
• Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Academic or practical knowledge of estimation and filtering techniques, such as the Kalman Filter, and their applications in target tracking.
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
• Basic knowledge of optics, sensors, or infrared imaging.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and/or the Linux environment.

Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics). Soft
