About Us
Granstudio is an international creative consultancy based in Turin, working across automotive, mobility, design, engineering, digital interaction and technology. We bring different disciplines together to turn complex ideas into tangible experiences, products and systems. At Granstudio, Purchasing means much more than placing orders. Our projects bring together design, engineering and technology — and behind them there’s a network of suppliers, technical partners, services, components and materials that needs to work just as well as the ideas themselves. We’re looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Turin: someone with at least 3 years of experience who can combine a structured purchasing approach with the curiosity to understand what sits behind every request. What will you buy? The answer is: very different things. A significant part of your work will focus on the sourcing and purchasing of professional and technical services, including engineering consultancy and external specialist support. The other side is more tangible: components, materials, prototypes and technical supplies used across our projects — from specific parts and manufacturing services to materials used in prototype development. You’ll also manage indirect purchases and office supplies, supporting the everyday needs of the company across items and services that keep our workplace running. You’ll work closely with technical teams and internal stakeholders to understand what they need, translate requirements into clear requests to the market and identify the right suppliers and solutions. Because good Purchasing isn’t simply about finding the lowest price. It’s about understanding what you’re buying — and making the right choice. Suppliers matter You’ll manage and develop relationships with suppliers in Italy and abroad, while also scouting new partners when projects require new capabilities. You’ll handle RFQs, collect and compare offers and build clear technical and economic comparisons to support purchasing decisions. You’ll be involved in negotiation, working across prices, payment terms, timing, quantities, delivery conditions and contractual aspects. You’ll also follow purchase orders, contracts and supplier activities through to delivery or completion of the service, coordinating with the different teams involved. Logistics will also be part of the role. You’ll manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers, supporting the organization and monitoring of shipments and deliveries in Italy and internationally. You’ll also support the purchasing and coordination of transportation services related to business trips, working with external providers and internal stakeholders to identify suitable solutions based on timing, requirements and costs. Know what we buy You’ll work with Bills of Materials, supplier and component data, helping maintain reliable information on suppliers, codes, specifications, prices, lead times, production times, availability and sourcing alternatives. You’ll monitor deadlines and potential supply risks, working with technical stakeholders to identify alternatives when needed. You’ll also contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes, tools and KPIs, helping make our activities increasingly efficient, traceable and data-driven. You might be our person if... You have 3 or more years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement. A degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related field is a strong fit for the role. You’re confident with Excel and comfortable working with data, offers, comparisons and commercial conditions. You know how to manage multiple requests and deadlines without losing attention to detail. You’re comfortable dealing with suppliers, negotiating conditions and working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re pragmatic, organized and solution-oriented — but also genuinely curious about products, technologies, materials, services and manufacturing processes. And you can work confidently in English, both written and spoken. Why Granstudio? Because here Purchasing works close to the projects. You’ll interact with people across design, engineering and technology and get a direct view of how supplier decisions, technical requirements, costs and timing come together. You’ll work in an international, multidisciplinary environment with room to bring ideas, improve the way things are done and develop your expertise across technical purchasing, supplier management, negotiation, cost analysis and procurement analytics. We also believe flexibility matters, so smart working is available when the role and activities allow it. And when you need a break from RFQs, suppliers and spreadsheets, there’s good coffee, table football, ping-pong — and on Fridays, pets are welcome in the studio too. Curious about what happens between a business need and the right supplier? We’d like to meet you. Apply via LinkedIn or email HR at simona.cuccuru@granstudio.com, telling us a little about yourself and what motivates you to join Granstudio. Granstudio is committed to an inclusive workplace and considers all applications in accordance with equal opportunity principles.
