Tecnimont is looking for a Construction HSE Senior Engineer to join “Construction HSE” Function.
Key Responsabilities:
He report to the HSM. He verifies and ensures that all activities are performed according to the TCM HSE Policy, the regulations, standards and procedures, promoting all preventive and corrective action as required.
• To perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA);
• Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, to the preparing any revisions;
• To update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary;
• To check that Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed;
• To organize, plan and participate to periodical HSE walk around, Inspections and Audits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action;
• To organize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE Training activities on site;
• To organize and participate to all relevant site HSE Meetings, prepare the relevant MOM;
• To co-operate with the Client concerning the issue of any necessary work permits;
• To organize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event, finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence;
• To keep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressed;
• To perform and or promote the indoctrination / training of personnel; Requirements and
Skills:
• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with specialization in Health, Safety and Environmental discipline
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HSE roles within large-scale EPC projects, including extensive construction site exposure
• Proven experience in managing HSE activities during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of industrial projects
• In-depth knowledge of international HSE standards, local regulations, and industry best practices applicable to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy and Infrastructure projects
• Strong expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, safety audits, inspections and corrective action programs
• Proven capability to supervise and monitor Contractors and Subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with project HSE requirements and company standards
• Ability to work effectively in challenging international locations and interact with multidisciplinary project teams, Clients and local Authorities
• Fluent English; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage Contract Type and Classification
• Contract type: Permanent
• Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
• Job classification level: Middle Manager, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement Compensation The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 60.000,00.
• The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.
• Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
