INTERNSHIP
- INTERNAL LOGISTICS AUTOMATION Project: AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION LINE FEEDING Starting from an existing pilot project, the intern will analyze the material supply process for a production line, mapping in detail all logistics flows and identifying all current safety risks associated with the existing line-feeding system. Upon completion of the preliminary analysis, the intern will join a dedicated project team to evaluate the introduction of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for transporting materials from the warehouse to the production line. The intern will contribute to the design of the new logistics flows and support their implementation. What You’ll Be Doing Analyze existing processes and activities related to material flow management. Identify and develop logistics efficiency improvement opportunities. Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate and control specific aspects of logistics processes. Support the implementation of logistics solutions on the shop floor. Identify non-value-added activities and apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Participate in hands-on material handling and movement processes. Develop and implement Visual Management solutions within Supply Chain processes. What’s Needed For You To Thrive Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Results-oriented, flexible, and proactive mindset. Process-oriented with strong teamwork skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of Access is preferred.
