This role oversees daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing documentation, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging of materials for domestic and international shipments. The Shipping Coordinator manages inventory movements related to outbound and inbound goods, verifies counts, and coordinates with warehouse staff to maintain organized storage. The role works closely with project, logistics, and customer service teams to align shipments with project timelines, resolve delivery issues, and meet client expectations. Daily tasks also include maintaining shipping records, monitoring carrier performance, and complying with company procedures and export regulations. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Shipping & Receiving, with experience managing daily dispatches, deliveries, and related documentation.
• Hands-on experience in Inventory Control, including stock verification, movement tracking, and basic warehouse systems.
• Customer Service capabilities to communicate clearly with internal teams, suppliers, and clients about shipment status and issues.
• Practical knowledge of Export processes, regulations, and documentation for international shipments.
• Ability to safely perform or coordinate Forklift Operation and material handling (license or certification is an advantage).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and logistics/ERP software; familiarity with shipping platforms is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or construction/interior fit-out environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Salerno, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow safety and quality procedures.
