Position Summary
The Commercial Business Transformation Manager is responsible for designing, developing and driving the evolution of commercial processes, governance models, operating frameworks and digital business requirements supporting the growth of the Cooling business.
The role acts as an internal transformation leader, working closely with Sales, Tendering, Product Management, Marketing and Business Operations teams to define future-state commercial processes, develop business playbooks and support the implementation of major business and digital transformation initiatives.
Success in this position requires a combination of commercial understanding, process design capability, structured problem solving and change leadership to ensure that business growth can be supported through scalable, efficient and standardized ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Process Design
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of commercial processes across the customer journey.
• Analyze existing ways of working and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and efficiency improvements.
• Define future-state commercial operating models supporting business scalability and regional growth.
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and functions on new process definitions and governance structures.
• Drive process harmonization while maintaining flexibility for different business environments and market needs. Commercial Playbooks & Governance
• Develop and maintain commercial playbooks, operating procedures and business guidelines.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear execution frameworks and actionable operating models.
• Establish governance mechanisms supporting consistent execution across the organization.
• Create best-practice repositories and standard methodologies for recurring commercial activities.
• Define roles, responsibilities, decision-making frameworks and escalation paths for critical commercial processes. Digital Transformation & Business Requirements
• Act as business process owner for commercial transformation initiatives involving digital platforms and enterprise systems.
• Define business requirements, user stories and functional specifications supporting process digitization.
• Collaborate with IT, digital and business teams to ensure future solutions adequately support commercial objectives.
• Participate in testing, validation and business readiness activities associated with new system deployments.
• Ensure alignment between commercial processes and digital tool capabilities. Strategic Initiatives Management
• Support cross-functional transformation projects impacting commercial effectiveness and business performance.
• Structure transformation roadmaps, milestones and implementation plans.
• Coordinate initiative tracking, action management and progress reviews.
• Monitor risks, dependencies and organizational impacts associated with transformation programs.
• Support leadership in prioritizing initiatives and allocating resources to maximize business impact. Business Performance & Insights
• Define performance indicators for commercial processes and transformation initiatives.
• Monitor effectiveness of newly implemented frameworks and methodologies.
• Identify process bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support leadership decision-making through data analysis, business insights and performance reporting.
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the organization. Key Deliverables During the first 12–24 months, the role is expected to deliver:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
• MBA or Project Management certification is considered a plus. Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Business Transformation, Process Improvement, Sales Operations or Strategic Program Management.
• Proven experience designing and implementing commercial processes and operating models.
• Experience working within complex, international and cross-functional organizations.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives and business process redesign.
• Exposure to Data Center, Cooling, Industrial, Energy or Technology businesses is highly desirable. Skills
