Position
Reporting directly to the Production & Purchasing Director shoes, the candidate will manage and coordinate pre-production activities at external subcontractors, ensuring proper setup and an efficient workflow start. This role acts as a key reference point between prototyping, the technical office, planning, and subcontractors, guaranteeing compliance with timelines and quality standards. The position is based in Fermo.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor subcontractors' production capacity curves;
• Confirm and adjust production times calculated or estimated during the prototyping and industrialization phases;
• Define, in collaboration with the planning department, the optimal launch schedule for cutting and stitching operations;
• Based on the production start, update and monitor the progress of technical releases;
• Coordinate activities and timelines regarding the issuing of technical sheets, the production and sorting of cutting dies and the production of master samples;
• Archive and manage documentation related to production start-up processes;
• Verify raw material arrivals with the purchasing department, initiate mand monitor the production of pairs for press until delivery. Profile
• Degree in Management or Industrial Engineering;
• 5-8 years’ experience in coordination and production start-up roles;
• Previous experience in Fashion & Luxury / Shoes field would be considered a plus;
• Excellent skills with Excel;
• Strong organization, time management skills and capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines;
• Flexibility and ability to interact with stakeholders and suppliers;
• Knowledge of Planning Systems (MRP), preferable STEALTH 3000, is a plus. LVMH is committed to non-discrimination and respect of each person’s singularities. This is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs. This role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance. On top of legal benefits, further benefits are provided in accordance with current company policies. This position is subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Calzature Industria) applicable to the role and applied by Fendi in Italy.
