AM Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Trillium Pumps Italy is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our After Market team in Nova Milanese. Purpose of Role Responsible for designing, developing and installing equipment which is used to monitor and control centrifugal pumps. The role requires preparing and reviewing project documentation, material requisitions and drawings about monitoring instrumentation installed on pump skids both during bidding phase, detailed engineering or project execution.
Key Responsibilities
And Specific Accountabilities Including but not limited to:
• define standard equipment costs of the pump’s monitoring systems according to standards (API 610) and support sales for special quotations
• define, in accordance with project specifications, the scope of supply about the necessary instrumentation and control systems for pump monitoring during projects execution
• issue the relevant order documentation such as P&ID, wiring diagram, instrument datasheet, instrument list, logic diagram and I/O list
• issue material requisitions, in compliance with technical specifications, and support procurement department during components purchasing process
• develop specifications and best practices required for the execution and installations of electrical plant
• coordinate, together with the production department, the activities of the third parties that carry out the electrical plant. Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with two years of experience is similar positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with field specifications and instruments. Proven knowledge about rotating machines monitoring instruments such as temperature probes, accelerometers and proximity probes. Familiarity with CAD systems, AutoCad as minimum, PLM tools and office package. Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English.
