• Certified Medical Assistant Contact Us Front Desk/Receptionist Our 5-Provider practice is looking for a dedicated full-time Medical Receptionist to handle rotation among 4 office locations. When our patients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is extremely organized. Responsibilities (not limited to)
• Greet patients as soon as they arrive and check them in properly
• Enter patient information into our electronic system and scan insurance cards
• Check patients out and make follow-up appointments as needed
• Handle incoming and outgoing faxes
• Answer the phone promptly and direct calls to the correct office personnel
• Process patient payments, i.e., co-payments and past balances Requirements
• Excellent multitasking skills required
• Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner required
• 1+ years' experience as a Medical Receptionist
• High school diploma accepted
• Bilingual preferred
• Work 5 days a week. (No weekends)
• Travel between all four offices required (Branford, New Haven, Westbrook, and North Haven)
