YOUR ROLE AT KIKO We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Buyer to join KIKO MILANO’s Global Indirect Procurement department, reporting to the Indirect Procurement Global Director. The role will manage end-to-end sourcing activities across a portfolio of indirect categories. Previous experience in retail construction, fit-out, real estate or facility-related spending is important, while the overall scope will also include other indirect categories according to business priorities. In particular, you will: ▪ Lead sourcing initiatives for assigned indirect categories, from needs and spend analysis through market scouting, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluation, negotiation, supplier award and implementation. ▪ Manage procurement activities for retail construction and store-related spend, including general contractors, furniture and millwork, lighting, fixtures, technical services, local vendors and maintenance works. ▪ Support additional indirect categories such as Trade Marketing and POP materials, Facility Management, Professional Services, Logistics, HR, Utilities and other business services. ▪ Partner with Business, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure the optimal balance of cost, quality, service, delivery, innovation and risk. ▪ Negotiate commercial conditions and contractual frameworks in collaboration with Legal, including pricing, service levels, payment terms, warranties and renewal conditions. ▪ Manage local and global tenders in line with company policies, ensuring transparent supplier evaluation, documented award decisions and full compliance with Procure-to-Pay processes. ▪ Develop and optimize the supplier base through market intelligence, supplier scouting, qualification, onboarding and due diligence activities. ▪ Track and report savings, cost avoidance and value creation initiatives; support CAPEX/OPEX analysis, budget visibility, cost breakdowns and total cost of ownership assessments. ▪ Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards and business reviews, driving corrective actions, continuous improvement initiatives, innovation and business continuity. ▪ Lead or support the development of category strategies, procurement standards, sourcing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging market intelligence and sharing best practices across the organization. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Engineering or similar; At least 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with ownership of indirect categories and negotiations in a structured organization; Previous exposure to retail, store construction, real estate, fit-out, facility management or related technical categories, combined with the flexibility to manage broader indirect spend; Hands-on experience in competitive tenders and in the sourcing cycle from stakeholder requirements through supplier award and contract signature; Solid commercial and analytical skills, including quotation comparison, cost breakdown, TCO, savings tracking and supplier performance analysis; Ability to read and challenge technical or commercial specifications; familiarity with drawings, BOQs or store roll-out processes would be a plus; Fluent in Italian and English; French and/or Spanish would be a plus; Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. SAP, e-sourcing, contract management or P2P platform knowledge would be a plus.
