We're looking for a passionate artist to work on an unannounced game

About us
We are a small games development team all around Italy. We create indie games experimenting with player choices, atmosphere and the relationship between game mechanics and narrative. We also help game developers create their own games, from our tools (like Text Animator) to tutorials and blog posts. What you will do: We will share more about the project during our initial calls, but we are looking for a person that can help us with:
• Leading the art direction of our project(s), from moodboards to final/polished assets and levels.
• Create 3D assets for the game, mainly environments / sceneries
• Create textures (256px) to fit the game’s visual direction
• Set dress game levels directly in Godot (it's easy), by using your assets We have many areas of interest that might work out for you (e.g. UI, 2D Art, or 3D), which is why we are keeping this position more general and are directly looking for more people to work with. More generally, being a small team means that you will have a lot of agency. Ask us questions, drown us with questions about the lore, directions and more, and we will be more than enthusiast to create something that will make you, the team and the players happy. What we are looking for: We’d love to see your style, your ideas and how you approach making art for a game. What we are / are not looking for:
• × AI generated art or portfolios
• ✓ Portfolios that clearly showcase your work (personal projects count)
• ✓ Worked on at least one commercial project (it's okay if it didn't ship)
• ✓ Available from early 2027
• ★ Godot or Unity experience
• ★ Comfortable with 2D and 3D
• ★Experience with PSX style assets You don’t need to match every point above; we have a thousands projects and you might be a match for this or other projects, now or in the future (Let us choose you instead of auto-filtering you out) Apply: You can view the full page and apply here: https://febucci.com/careers/general-artist Thanks for reading
