Mission:
As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a System Engineer
- Railway sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects. What is the challenge?
• Develop system and hardware specifications based on product requirements.
• Perform simulations, testing, and validation of electronic systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and system issues during development and production.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design reviews.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and production engineering teams.
• Interface with external suppliers. We are looking for a System Engineer with a background in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering to join our team working on railway and onboard communication systems. The role will involve System Engineering, System Integration, Testing and Verification & Validation activities, with a focus on communication and diagnostic systems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in telecommunications, embedded systems or the railway sector.
• Knowledge of radio communication principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English and Italian, both written and spoken. Technical
skills:
• Good knowledge of IBM DOORS
• Telecommunications & Radio Communication
• GSM-R / CAB Radio
• Event Recorder / JRU / Black Box
• System Integration
• Verification & Validation / Testing
• Troubleshooting & Log Analysis
• Railway Systems Nice to have:
• Experience with GSM-R, CAB Radio or railway communication systems.
• Knowledge of JRU / Event Recorder / Black Box systems.
• Experience in testing and validation activities.
• Knowledge of ERTMS/ETCS.
• Familiarity with the railway environment and onboard systems. This position is ideal for a graduate or junior engineer looking to develop a career in System Engineering and Railway Technologies. Other information:
