What this Job Entails: The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing hands-on onsite desktop support across office and factory environments. The role covers break/fix and deployment support for laptops and desktops, rugged factory laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V devices. The engineer will execute incidents and service requests through established ITSM processes, use tools such as IT Shop, SCCM, and Nexthink for endpoint visibility and support, and apply strong Windows troubleshooting skills and basic networking diagnostics to restore services quickly. This is a full onsite position based in Rome, Italy. Your Roles and

Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on onsite desktop support across office and factory environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving laptops, desktops, rugged factory laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V devices.
• Perform break/fix activities and device deployments.
• Monitor ticket queues and assign incidents and service requests through ITSM tools.
• Perform incident management, RCA for major incidents, and drive issue prevention.
• Utilize tools such as SCCM, IT Shop, and Nexthink for endpoint visibility and support efficiency.
• Apply Windows troubleshooting and basic network diagnostics to restore services.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles. Required Qualifications/Skills:
• 4–7 years of onsite desktop support experience across office and factory environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting laptops and desktops.
• Experience with break/fix and deployment support.
• Experience supporting rugged factory laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V devices.
• Experience working with ITSM processes for incidents and service requests.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
• Basic networking troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tools such as SCCM, IT Shop, and Nexthink.
• Advanced level of English. Physical Demand & Work Environment:
• Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
• Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
• Must be able to use a computer
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively
• Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Salary Range 30,000.00
- 34,000.00 EUR (Annual)
