About The Role
The EMEA HR Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality HR operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle while contributing to the development of a scalable HR Shared Services capability. Acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers, the role provides timely HR support, maintains accurate employee records, coordinates payroll and benefits activities, and supports HR systems, reporting, and compliance requirements. As a member of the HR team, the successful candidate will help establish efficient HR processes within the newly independent Oxoid Remel Microbiology business across multiple countries, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and service excellence.
What You'll Do
Employee Lifecycle and HR Support
• Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Deliver accurate and timely HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, leave administration, and offboarding activities.
• Escalate complex employee relations, legal, policy, or compliance matters to the HR team as appropriate.
• Ensure employees receive a professional, responsive, and positive HR experience. HR Systems, Darwinbox and Data Management
• Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems and databases.
• Process HR transactions and employee data updates accurately and on time.
• Support data audits, reporting, and data-quality initiatives.
• Play a key role in Darwinbox implementation, testing, go-live, and stabilization activities.
• Support data migration, data cleansing, and system enhancements as required.
• Generate standard HR reports and metrics to support business needs. Payroll, Compensation And Benefits
• Partner with payroll teams and providers to ensure employee changes are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs and supporting documentation.
• Assist with compensation processes, annual salary review activities, and benefit administration where applicable. Onboarding, Offboarding and Documentation
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive start for new employees.
• Prepare employment documentation, HR correspondence, and employee records.
• Manage offboarding activities including system updates, exit documentation, payroll notifications, and benefit changes.
• Coordinate activities with Talent Acquisition, payroll providers, and external service partners as required. Shared Services and Continuous Improvement
• Support the development of a fit-for-purpose HR Shared Services operating model.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, user guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, simplify administrative activities, and enhance the employee experience.
• Participate in HR projects, process transitions, testing activities, and organizational initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices across HR operations. Compliance, Governance and Service Delivery
• Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Support reporting, audit activities, and HR governance requirements through accurate record keeping.
• Collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, managers, payroll providers, benefits vendors, and external service partners.
• Maintain HR controls and service standards across supported countries and business units. What We're Looking For
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, Shared Services, or a similar HR service delivery environment.
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes in a fast-paced environment. HR Systems and Data
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and maintaining employee records.
• Experience with reporting, data integrity activities, and HR system transactions.
• Experience with Darwinbox, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms is advantageous. Payroll and Employee Services
• Understanding of HR-to-payroll processes and payroll input administration.
• Experience supporting benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and other core HR processes. Customer Focus and Communication
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve routine issues independently and escalate where appropriate. Accuracy and Organisation
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism. Change and Collaboration
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation and SOPs is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, countries, and stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required.
