Company Description The Italian Lawyer – International Legal Advice (TIL) is an Italian law firm with offices in the UK and Italy, and consultants in Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and France, providing clients with professional legal services in their own language.
TIL focuses on assisting international clients with Italian legal matters, addressing language barriers and the complexity of Italian bureaucracy. The firm offers tailored solutions, combining legal expertise with cultural understanding to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Palermo for a Real Estate Consultant
- Trainee Lawyer. The role involves supporting senior lawyers in real estate transactions, assisting with due diligence on properties, and preparing and reviewing legal documentation related to real property matters. The consultant will interact with clients, gather information on their real estate needs, and help explain legal options and processes in clear, accessible language. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with notaries, real estate agencies, and other stakeholders, maintaining accurate case files, and ensuring compliance with relevant Italian real estate regulations. The role also includes ongoing legal training, participation in internal knowledge sessions, and contributing to the development of best practices for cross-border real estate services. Qualifications
• Knowledge of Real Estate and Real Property law, with a strong interest in Italian and cross-border real estate matters.
• Sales and client relationship skills, including the ability to understand client needs and present suitable legal solutions.
• Negotiation skills to support discussions with clients, counterparties, and external stakeholders involved in real estate transactions.
• Willingness and ability to undertake Training, including continuous professional development as a trainee lawyer in real estate law.
• Degree in Law or equivalent legal education/background.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
• Fluency in Italian and good command of English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple files and deadlines.
