As part of the ongoing development of NEAR‑C S.r.l., we are seeking a Hardware Designer with solid experience in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The selected professional will join our team of consultants and contribute their expertise across all current and future projects.

About the Role
The selected professional will join our team of consultants and contribute their expertise across all current and future projects. Responsibilities
• Creation and review of schematics and technical documentation;
• Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (software, mechanical, production) to ensure seamless system integration;
• Design and development of electronic hardware systems and components (FPGA, analog/digital circuits, etc.);
• Execution of testing, debugging, and validation activities on prototypes and final products;
• Analysis and resolution of hardware‑related issues in existing products. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline; Required Skills
• At least 5 years of experience in HW design for digital systems using state‑of‑the‑art technologies (FPGA, preferably AMD/Xilinx; RF‑sampling ADC/DAC; high‑speed serial interfaces @Gbps)
• Excellent knowledge of Altium HW development CAD (and Cadence)
• Knowledge of major mixed‑signal HW components, such as ADCs, DACs, oscillators, RAM, FLASH, EEPROM, optical transceivers, and communication channels such as Ethernet, PCI, PCIe, SPI
• Ability to use advanced laboratory instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bus analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Experience in drafting requirements and technical specifications, applying international norms and standards
• Strong attitude toward teamwork
