A. is seeking an IT Governance & ITSM Analyst to join a major client in the energy sector, based in Rome. The selected candidate will support the client's ICT Operations function in governance, planning, and monitoring activities related to IT initiatives, contributing to the effective management of operational processes and the coordination of both project and day-to-day IT activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the governance of strategic ICT initiatives by contributing to the definition and implementation of IT Governance processes and procedures;
• Manage the technical and administrative oversight of IT vendors, monitoring budgets, contracts, and the entire contract lifecycle;
• Prepare the documentation required to initiate and manage procurement processes in compliance with applicable regulations and procedures;
• Provide operational support to Project Management Office (PMO) activities, including organizing project status meetings and monitoring project deliverables;
• Track the progress of project initiatives, ensuring adherence to milestones, timelines, and defined objectives;
• Support the planning of activities related to ICT operations management teams and internal project initiatives;
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to ensure the proper integration and management of IT solutions and infrastructures;
• Prepare periodic reports and supporting documentation for management and key stakeholders. Required Technical
Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical/scientific field, economics, or an equivalent discipline;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Governance, IT PMO, IT Service Management, or similar roles;
• Knowledge of major Project Management methodologies and tools;
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, processes, and solutions;
• Good understanding of leading IT Governance frameworks;
• Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
• Experience in monitoring and controlling IT budgets, contracts, and vendor management activities;
• Knowledge of procurement processes for goods and services within the Public Administration sector is considered a plus. The ideal candidate has an excellent professional presence and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to interact effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels. They demonstrate a strong aptitude for teamwork and activity coordination, combined with a structured, results-oriented approach.
