Project Controls Lead / Director Pharmaceutical Capital Projects Italian & English Hybrid / On-Site Freelance or Fixed Term Contract Lead Project Controls on Major Pharmaceutical Investments Our client is delivering significant pharmaceutical capital projects across Italy and is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead / Director to establish, lead and continuously improve an integrated Project Controls function. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will work closely with project leaders, contractors and stakeholders to provide the governance, reporting and performance insight required to successfully deliver complex programmes. You will be responsible for integrating cost, schedule, risk and change management processes while providing the analysis and forecasting that supports informed project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the integrated Project Controls function across major pharmaceutical projects
• Establish governance frameworks, procedures, standards and reporting requirements
• Integrate cost, planning, risk and change management processes into a single controls framework
• Develop KPI reporting, project performance dashboards and forecasting processes
• Monitor project performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Coordinate project controls activities across contractors, consultants and stakeholders
• Support project leadership with performance analysis and strategic recommendations
• Drive continuous improvement across project controls systems and reporting About You
• Extensive Project Controls experience including leadership responsibility
• Significant experience on pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, oil & gas or highly regulated manufacturing projects.
• Strong expertise in cost control, planning, scheduling, risk management and change control
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing project controls teams
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Fluent Italian and English
• AACE, PMI or equivalent Project Controls qualification highly desirable Why Apply?
