We are looking for a Head of Franchise Development Italy to join our team in Milan, reporting directly to the Country Manager. In this role, you will be the strategic lead for the expansion of the MBE network & ParcelValue in Italy. You will be responsible for defining the growth roadmap and managing a dedicated development team to achieve ambitious expansion targets.
You will directly coordinate two Franchise Developer Supervisors (split by geographic area) one Inside Sales & Prequalification specialist, and one Design & Construction Manager, ensuring that the entire funnel, from lead generation to store opening, is optimized, data-driven, and aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement the national franchising development strategy to meet company targets for new store openings and transfers.
• Oversee the recruitment and awarding of 15+ new candidates per year and the management of 20+ transfer center transactions at a national level.
• Manage and optimize the entire franchise qualification process, from initial pre-qualification and commercial negotiations to business planning and funding.
• Define annual budgets, forecasts, sales objectives, and KPIs for the franchise development department, providing accurate forecasting and regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and coordinate the development team, ensuring alignment on goals and performance.
• Drive the adoption and effectiveness of CRM tools and sales technologies to improve conversion rates and pipeline management.
• Support the team in identifying premium site locations and navigating administrative procedures for new franchisees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Marketing, IT, Finance, Sales & Operations) to ensure seamless pre-opening activities and branding compliance.
• Represent the brand at major franchise sales events, tradeshows, and high-level networking opportunities.
• Continuous review of marketing techniques and sales collaterals to enhance the value proposition of the MBE Franchise & ParcelValue. Skills and Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in franchising, with a demonstrated track record in selling franchises or high-ticket business opportunities.
• Proven track record in leading and motivating sales or development teams, with the ability to drive results through others.
• Ability to translate business objectives into operational expansion plans and accurate sales forecasts.
• Expert in consultative sales processes and high-ticket negotiations.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis is essential.
• Full willingness and ability to travel as necessary for market visits and events.
• Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
• Collaborative spirit, with appreciation of diverse perspectives.
