Job Description
Join a team developing state-of-the-art edge-computing platforms and embedded software for next-generation products in 1D/2D code reading and computer vision.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable Linux-based embedded software architectures.
• Develop and validate software using C++ (user space) and C (Linux Kernel/Bootloader).
• Port and adapt software across different hardware platforms, processors, sensors and peripherals.
• Debug, maintain and enhance existing software components following SQA best practices.
• Contribute to software architecture, requirements definition, code reviews and development guidelines.
• Explore emerging technologies and contribute to innovation in embedded systems and computer vision. Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in Linux embedded systems, C++ and object-oriented design.
• Strong knowledge of C++, design patterns, debugging/profiling tools and SQA practices.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and Yocto is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Python/Java, ARM/MIPS architectures and image-processing technologies is a plus.
• Fluent English; Italian is preferred. Soft
