About Mosaic Conseil Mosaic Conseil operates as a small, remote workshop dedicated to rebuilding one business artifact at a time. We do not work on standing retainers or produce slide decks. Instead, we take things like pricing grids, diligence files, and three-year plans apart on the bench and put them back together against the evidence of the invoice ledger. Our process is personal and focused. We return the same artifact you sent, redrawn by hand and supported by a written argument. We handle our work on paper and back it by a telephone number that answers for ninety days. We keep our workshop small on purpose to ensure that the people who do the work also answer their own phones. Currently, we are supporting a prominent Italian financial services business by refining their internal analytical tools and financial reports to ensure their data remains clear and actionable. What you would do As a Junior UI Developer, you will bridge the gap between complex financial calculations and the visual interface used by professional analysts. This role is fully remote. You will spend your time translating core business logic into clean, functional user interfaces for the tools we build for our client in the Italian financial sector. This is not about decorative design or marketing visuals. You will be responsible for building visual artifacts that help users see the architecture of a business plan or the movement within a ledger. You will write code that is clean, readable, and documentation-heavy. In our workshop, every project follows a specific model: one person builds and one person argues against what was built. You will participate in this cycle, sometimes as the builder of the interface and sometimes as the challenger who tests the usability and logic of a colleague's work. Helpful background We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a high level of intellectual curiosity. For this entry level position, we value your ability to learn and your attention to detail over a long list of previous job titles. You should have a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a basic understanding of how data flows through a web application. Experience with modern visual frameworks is helpful, but we care more about your understanding of how to structure information clearly. You should be comfortable discussing technical tradeoffs and explaining why a specific layout or component serves the underlying data better than another. A background in finance, accounting, or data visualization through university projects or personal curiosity will be very useful as you work on artifacts for our banking and software clients. How we work We operate as a fully remote team across different time zones, prioritizing deep work and long periods of focus. We do not have meetings that we did not schedule for a specific purpose. Communication at Mosaic Conseil is heavy on written arguments and light on casual chatter. We believe that if a decision is worth making, it is worth writing down. This ensures that every assumption is tested before a file closes. Our workshop focuses on four specific rooms: financial services, industrial networks, growing software companies, and healthcare systems. Because we are small, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of a project, from the initial audit of an artifact to the final delivery of a rebuilt tool. The environment is one of quiet discipline where quality is measured by the clarity of the result, not the volume of the activity.
