About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join a Commercial Business Technology team, acting as the key connection between business stakeholders and technical teams. This is a business-focused Product Ownership role centered on understanding business needs, defining product vision and roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring that engineering teams are working on the initiatives that deliver the greatest value. Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, customer needs, technical feasibility, dependencies, and delivery capacity. Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, requirements, and opportunities. Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and release requirements. Collaborate with Engineering and technical teams throughout discovery, refinement, development, testing, and release. Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, product reviews, demos, and release planning. Manage competing stakeholder priorities and influence decisions across business and technical teams. Define and monitor KPIs, product metrics, adoption, and business outcomes. Identify and help resolve blockers, risks, dependencies, and technical debt. Support UAT, release readiness, product documentation, and adoption activities. Ensure product decisions align with applicable security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Support squad resourcing, interviewing, and onboarding when required. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or a closely related business-facing product role. Proven experience owning product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, release planning, and product delivery. Previous experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a closely related industry. Professional experience working with Salesforce-enabled products or business processes. Strong experience partnering with business stakeholders and translating business needs into product requirements. Experience creating and managing user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience working closely with Engineering and technical teams in an Agile environment. Strong ability to balance business priorities, technical feasibility, delivery capacity, and technical debt. Experience using KPIs and product metrics to measure success and guide prioritization. Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Nice to Have Experience using Cvent. Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment. Experience supporting events-related business processes or digital products. Understanding of customer journeys and customer experience. Foundational awareness of Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation, and Emerging Technology. Experience coordinating third-party vendors or external delivery partners. Experience working with globally distributed product squads. Why Join Us Shape the roadmap of enterprise digital products supporting a global commercial organization. Serve as a trusted business partner at the center of product decision-making. Work directly with global business stakeholders and experienced engineering teams.
