Snowflake Engineer at BairesDev
As a Snowflake Engineer, you will design and manage robust data warehouses on the Snowflake platform. You will serve as the primary expert in Snowflake-specific features, ensuring that data architectures are scalable, secure, and optimized for high performance across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouses using Snowflake and SQL.
- Develop and optimize data models and transformations utilizing dbt to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Configure and manage Snowflake-specific features including Snowpipe, data sharing, and multi-cluster warehouses.
- Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor resource usage to ensure efficient platform operation.
- Automate data ingestion and processing workflows to support real-time and batch analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to provide clean, accessible, and high-performance data sets. What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Software Engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing data warehouses on Snowflake.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modeling using dbt.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake-specific features such as Snowpipe, data sharing, and cost optimization.
