Project description
Automotive. German OEM. The project is responsible for cross-brand platform capabilities and foundational technologies in the field of vehicle electronics and softwar. Ensure the development of electric and electronic hardware solutions with wellbalanced performance steps, delivering with quality and with modular scalability to support the transition to platform all company brands
Responsibilities
Design of Wiring Systems
Creates schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses.
Defines how electrical signals and power are routed between components (ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, etc.).
Ensures correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.
Skills
Must have
Understanding of:
Voltage, current, power distribution
Signal types (analog, digital, high-speed data like Ethernet)
Ability to:
Calculate wire sizing and voltage drop
Ensure correct fusing and protection concepts
Knowledge of:
Vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
General requirement
Solid understanding of:
Electrical fundamentals (voltage, current, power)
Wiring systems and circuit design
Knowledge of:
Vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Power distribution concepts (fusing, grounding)
Basic understanding of:
EMC/EMI principles
Signal integrity (especially for ADAS / HPC)
Nice to have
Basic understanding of:
EMC/EMI principles

Location:
Preference will be given to candidates based near Turin, to enable at least one day per week of on-site presence. However, we will also consider candidates based in other Italian cities, with the possibility of a fully remote contract.
