For our Milan Office, we are looking for an IT Data Analyst to join our IT Team. Role Overview
• Lead the BI platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with the country's internationalization journey.
• Act as the key point of contact for BI data integration, including new data flows and SAP-native data models, in collaboration with local and corporate SAP teams.
• Evaluate and introduce AI-oriented solutions for reporting, automation, and self-service analytics (e.g., Copilot, Microsoft Fabric).
• Coordinate external vendors on implementation projects, enhancements, maintenance activities, and delivery.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into analytics, reporting, and KPI solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance in line with Group policies.
• Manage demand, priorities, and planning independently.
• Serve as the technical reference point for teams across other countries, laying the foundations for future cross-country coordination. YOUR ADDED VALUE
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid experience (approximately 6+ years) in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, demonstrating increasing autonomy and responsibility.
• Experience in coordinating vendors, technical teams, or BI projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (development and optimization of views and stored procedures) and Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS, Power BI, Power Automate), as well as advanced Microsoft 365 Excel skills.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing, dimensional data modeling, and Data Marts.
• Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft Fabric, with a strong interest in AI applications for reporting and data quality.
• Interest in other data ecosystems (e.g., dbt, Snowflake) and willingness to build expertise on the SAP S/4HANA data model (previous SAP BW experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and integration.
