• Source and evaluate suppliers for metal components and materials.
• Manage RFQ processes and supplier negotiations.
• Analyze quotations, cost structures, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
• Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Work with engineering teams to understand technical requirements.
• Support supplier selection for new products and production programs.
• Monitor supplier performance across cost, delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify cost reduction and supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Track relevant market and material developments.
• Support commercial terms and supplier agreements.
• Identify sourcing risks and support supplier diversification. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience in sourcing, purchasing, commodity management, or supplier development.
• Understanding of metal components, materials, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation and cost-analysis capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate suppliers from commercial and operational perspectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
