Job Summary
Virtual Latinos is looking for an experienced full-cycle B2B sales professional to help build and prove our first dedicated outbound sales function.
The Outbound Sales Specialist will own the full sales journey for assigned prospects, from initial outreach and qualification through consultative sales conversations, follow-up, and closing. This person will build trust with prospective clients, understand their business needs, confidently communicate Virtual Latinos’ value proposition, and convert qualified opportunities into new clients.
The ideal candidate combines strong prospecting skills with a consultative closing style and is comfortable engaging with U.
S. business owners, navigating objections, discussing pricing, and driving opportunities toward a decision. As an early member of this sales function, they will also contribute to refining our outreach strategies, sales conversations, and playbook as the team grows. Because this is a new sales function, this person will also play an important role in helping us refine our scripts, objection handling, outreach strategies, and overall sales playbook. 🔧
Key Responsibilities
Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage assigned leads from first outreach through qualification, Discovery Call, follow-up, and collection of the $500 deposit. Prospect & Build Pipeline: Execute high-volume, personalized outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and SMS while re-engaging stalled and previously unresponsive leads. Run Consultative Discovery Calls: Understand prospects’ needs, explain Virtual Latinos’ services, pricing, process, and value proposition, and confidently handle objections. Qualify & Close Responsibly: Evaluate budget, need, timing, decision-making authority, and role feasibility while disqualifying prospects that are not a good fit. Manage CRM & Pipeline: Keep HubSpot accurate and up to date with every interaction, next step, stage change, lead source, and opportunity status. Create Strong Client Handoffs: After deposit payment, provide Recruitment with a complete overview of the client’s needs, expectations, concerns, and everything discussed during the sales process. Improve the Sales Playbook: Participate in call reviews and coaching while testing and documenting scripts, messaging, objection handling, and outreach strategies that can help scale the sales function. Requirements 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, personally owning the process from prospecting through closing. Proven track record of personally closing deals, with measurable results such as quota attainment, conversion rates, revenue generated, or similar performance metrics. Strong experience with outbound prospecting and high-volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and/or SMS. Excellent consultative selling skills, including discovery, active listening, objection handling, pricing conversations, follow-up, and closing. Experience selling to U.
S. and/or Canadian businesses, with a strong understanding of North American business culture and client communication expectations. Advanced professional English, both spoken and written, with the confidence to lead sales conversations with U.
S. business owners. Working proficiency with a CRM and strong discipline around pipeline management and documentation; HubSpot experience is strongly preferred. Strong organization and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline without letting opportunities fall through the cracks. High level of coachability, curiosity, resilience, business acumen, and work ethic. High integrity and a consultative mindset—the ability to recognize and disqualify poor-fit opportunities rather than overselling simply to close a deal. Nice to Have Experience selling staffing, recruiting, outsourcing/BPO, consulting, or professional services. Experience selling directly to SMB owners, particularly in industries such as legal, real estate, healthcare, home services, or agencies. Experience collecting an upfront deposit, retainer, or setup fee before service delivery. Experience closing clients through a short, high-velocity sales cycle. Experience with HubSpot Sequences, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Experience working in a founder-led company or helping build a sales function/playbook from the ground up. Lived, studied, or worked in the United States, or extensive professional experience working with U.
S. business culture. Familiarity with nearshore staffing, remote work, bilingual talent, or U.
S.–LATAM business relationships. Experience using project management software; Virtual Latinos currently uses Infinity.
