€70,000 – €100,000 + Annual Profit Share (€5,000 – €10,000) 🏢 Industry: Renewable Energy | Solar PV | Battery Energy Storage 📄 Employment: Full-Time | Permanent About the Opportunity EVEREC is partnering with a leading international renewable energy consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to strengthen its growing Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) operations in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, employee-owned consultancy operating across Europe, working on major renewable energy projects while helping expand its presence in the Italian market. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, taking ownership of complex projects, developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical and commercial due diligence for Solar PV, BESS and hybrid renewable energy projects.
- Assess project risks relating to grid connections, permitting, land agreements, environmental constraints and project design.
- Evaluate technical and commercial risks impacting project timelines, CAPEX, OPEX and investment returns.
- Deliver owner's engineering and technical advisory services to developers, investors, lenders and operators.
- Manage multiple renewable energy projects, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities across the Italian Solar and BESS markets.
- Review construction and operational contracts, identifying commercial implications and potential risks.
- Collaborate with international teams across Spain, Portugal, France and the UK. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in renewable energy consultancy, ideally specialising in Solar PV and/or BESS.
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience in technical due diligence for renewable energy projects.
- Good understanding of the Italian renewable energy market, including grid connections, permitting, land acquisition and environmental requirements.
- Ability to evaluate technical risks and their commercial implications for investors and developers.
- Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Fluent Italian and English (essential).
- Willingness to travel when required. Desirable

Experience:

- Owner's engineering, construction monitoring or asset management.
- Experience across additional renewable technologies, particularly wind.
- Knowledge of other European renewable energy markets.
- Additional languages, particularly French or German. What's on Offer?
