🚨PROVIDE A CV IN ENGLISH Ready to build something, not just manage what already exists? An international manufacturing group is developing a new industrial facility in the cosmetics sector in the Crema area. We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator who enjoys being close to operations, taking ownership and building efficient processes from the ground up. This is not a conventional warehouse management position. You will have the opportunity to help design, organize and progressively develop the warehouse and logistics operations of a new manufacturing site, working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain and IT. We are looking for someone who can think like a manager, act like an entrepreneur and remain genuinely hands-on. Your challenge During the initial phase, you will play an active role in establishing the warehouse and logistics organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building the warehouse operation: Define physical layouts, storage locations, material flows, receiving, picking, staging and shipping processes.
- Supporting manufacturing operations: Ensure reliable material availability for production, including raw materials, packaging components, bulk and finished goods.
- Implementing processes and systems: Contribute to ERP/WMS configuration, warehouse mapping, inventory accuracy, traceability and digitalization initiatives.
- Establishing operational standards: Develop procedures, KPIs, inventory controls and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensuring compliance: Maintain appropriate GMP, safety, quality and traceability standards.
- Developing the team: Initially remain closely involved in daily operations, then progressively coordinate, train and develop warehouse personnel as the site grows. Who are we looking for? You may currently be a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, Warehouse Coordinator or an emerging Warehouse Manager looking for a more entrepreneurial challenge. What matters most is not your job title, but what you have achieved and what you are capable of building. Ideally, you bring:
- At least 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- A solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, material flows and production supply.
- Experience contributing to operational improvements, process implementation, warehouse reorganization or start-up projects.
- Practical knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and warehouse digital processes.
- The ability to organize activities, coordinate people and take responsibility for operational decisions.
- A structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- A genuine willingness to combine strategic thinking with day-to-day operational involvement. Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food manufacturing or other regulated industrial environments would be particularly valuable. What will make you successful? We are particularly interested in professionals who:
- Enjoy creating structure where processes do not yet exist.
- Can identify problems and propose practical solutions without waiting for instructions.
- Have the confidence to take ownership while remaining collaborative.
- Are comfortable starting small and growing with the business.
- See continuous improvement as part of their daily responsibilities.
- Have the ambition and potential to develop into broader leadership responsibilities. You don't need to have managed a large warehouse or a large team. You do need to demonstrate the ability to build, organize and lead. What makes this opportunity different? This is a rare opportunity to contribute directly to the creation and development of a new industrial operation within an international group. You will have the opportunity to influence how warehouse and logistics activities are designed, implemented and progressively optimized. Your contribution will be visible, tangible and closely connected to the success of the manufacturing site. Location & compensation
