Praesidium, established in 2016, was founded by experienced professionals with backgrounds in European and American private equity, consulting, and banking. The company focuses on innovative, thematic investment strategies across private markets.
Role Description
The intern will be part of the Investment Team, which is responsible for deploying capital into private equity funds and co-investments. The intern will work alongside an experienced, international team to identify and select the most attractive investment opportunities across private markets.
The intern will work directly with the Investment Team to:
- Perform due diligence on fund and co-investment opportunities, including, but not limited to, financial and operational analysis and industry research across specific sectors;
- Support product reporting, market research, and marketing activities;
- Update databases and Excel models;
- Prepare internal investment committee memoranda, market updates, and marketing presentations;
- Participate in due diligence meetings. Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis and financial modeling
- Excellent research and data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
