Nicosia , Cyprus Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Electric Scooter Mechanic to join our Operations team and support the maintenance, repair, and overall technical condition of our electric scooter fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric scooters.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Inspect and replace components such as brakes, tires, wheels, handlebars, cables, controllers, motors, batteries, and other spare parts.
- Troubleshoot electrical and technical faults and identify the root cause of issues.
- Perform safety and quality checks before vehicles are returned to operation.
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
- Record repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
- Work closely with the Operations team to maintain high fleet availability and reliability.
- Follow all safety procedures and technical guidelines.
- Contribute to improving maintenance processes and operational efficiency. Requirements
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Previous experience in repairing electric vehicles, bicycles, scooters, or similar equipment is a strong advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and basic electrical equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Nice to Have
- Previous experience with electric scooters or e-bikes.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and electronics.
- Experience troubleshooting motors, batteries, controllers, or wiring.
- Technical education or relevant certification.
- Previous experience in fleet maintenance or the micromobility industry.
