Accounting Specialist – Czech

MEC3 Sro, part of the Group, plays a key role in supporting business development in the Czech market.
To strengthen our local team, we are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist, who might be located either in Prague or in Rimini based on preferred Candidate residence.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities in accordance with local accounting standards, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports sent to head office.
They will collaborate with internal and external contacts and provide support for accounting and administrative processes within a well-structured, international environment.
Activities:Bookkeeping in accordance with Czech accounting standards:Cash collections and paymentsAccounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and stock accountingPayroll accountingGeneral ledger entriesPayments via online bankingAccrual-based monthly reporting to HQCash flow forecastingPreparation of monthly INTRASTAT reportsPreparation of monthly VAT returnsStakeholder management:Group functionsPayroll consultantTax consultantExternal auditorSupport during the consolidation processManagement of accounting documents, minutes, and corporate records.

Requirements:
Degree in Economics or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Knowledge of Money – nice to haveKnowledge of SAP
