On behalf of one of our clients, a deep-tech company building electrochemical deposition equipment (ECD) and processes for semiconductor manufactoring, we are seeking a Senior Metrology Engineer to join the Process and the wafers and samples processed with them, against the specification the client/partner cares about Being the owner of the instrument park, so defining the internal needs, selecting the instruments, caring about their installation, calibration and maintenance thanks to an assigned budget Improving the measurement strategies, sampling plans, automation of repetitive measurements, and imagining analysis routines and the expected throughput Correlating processes to results working alonside the internal teams committed to process development, electrochemistry, and microfabrication so that every measurement feeds back into a parameter Requirements MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Sciences, Engineering or related disciplines 6+ years hands-on in metrology or materials characterisation Instrument ownership and full capacity to keep it calibrated and running afterwards Fluent in English, written and spoken, Italian is a plus
