Application Consultant

Application Consultant for Digital Pathology at Leica Biosystems, a Danaher company, supporting the commercial team in adopting digital pathology and computational solutions. The role combines technical expertise with solution selling to serve healthcare customers across Italy, working remotely with travel required.
Responsibilities
Partner with Sales Specialists to advance customer opportunities and achieve growth targets
Lead customer discovery sessions, workflow assessments, and solution design workshops
Demonstrate digital pathology, image analysis, and AI-enabled diagnostic solutions to healthcare organizations
Influence key stakeholders across pathology, laboratory operations, informatics, and healthcare IT functions
Support customers in adopting digital and computational pathology workflows for improved cancer diagnostics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in scientific, engineering, informatics, imaging, or healthcare discipline
Healthcare IT experience and systems integration knowledge
Understanding of digital pathology, medical imaging, diagnostics, and interoperability standards like DICOM and HL7
Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform proficiency
Solution selling, technical consulting, applications support, or solution architecture experience
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Willingness to travel up to 80% within assigned territory
