The Role
We are seeking an experienced, Milan-based
Freelance Fashion PR & Communications Consultant
to strengthen ANEST's presence and relationships within the international fashion industry.
Working closely with the founders and the Milan and Shanghai teams, the consultant will help develop meaningful connections with fashion editors, stylists, creative talents and selected cultural figures, building long-term recognition for ANEST and its distinctive design language.
With China as our current primary commercial market and international development as a long-term ambition, the role will focus on cultivating credible international relationships and creating relevant communications opportunities that support the brand's positioning and visibility.
We are looking for someone with an established professional network, strong aesthetic judgment and a proactive, hands-on approach to building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with international fashion editors, stylists, fashion directors and relevant industry figures.
Identify and pursue selective editorial features, fashion styling opportunities, product placements and talent dressing opportunities aligned with ANEST's positioning.
Introduce ANEST's signature pieces and collections to relevant fashion professionals, building recognition of the brand's design identity.
Identify meaningful collaborations with creative individuals across fashion, design and culture.
Propose and coordinate targeted PR initiatives, showroom appointments and intimate industry presentations where relevant.
Work closely with the founders and teams to ensure international communications activities contribute to the brand's broader positioning and commercial priorities.
Maintain and develop long-term industry relationships, providing regular updates on opportunities, progress and outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fashion PR, communications or industry relations, ideally within luxury or high-end independent fashion brands.
An established network of fashion editors, stylists and influential industry professionals, particularly in Milan and the broader European fashion community.
A strong understanding of contemporary luxury fashion, independent designers and the international editorial landscape.
Refined aesthetic sensibility and genuine appreciation for design, craftsmanship and creative expression.
Proven ability to independently develop relationships and translate them into meaningful editorial, styling or collaborative opportunities.
Entrepreneurial, resourceful and comfortable working with a small, founder-led team.
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
Fluent English and Italian. Familiarity with the Chinese luxury market is an advantage.
