: br/Work type: Full-timebr/Department: Applied Oral Sciences and Community Dental Care of the Faculty of Dentistry **)br/Categories: Research Staff /p pResearch Assistant II in the Division of Applied Oral Sciences Community Dental Care (Ref.: ) /p pApplications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant II in the Division of Applied Oral Sciences Community Dental Care of the Faculty of Dentistry, to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
/p pApplicants should hold a bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Microbiology, Biological Science, or related disciplines.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
An interest in collaborating closely with biologists and the ability to work independently with high motivation are also important.
Candidates with experience in animal work are preferred and those who are interested in pursuing postgraduate studies are encouraged to apply.
/p pThe appointee will conduct research on cell culture, protein expression, and animal and antibacterial experiments in a biosafety level 2 laboratory under the supervision of Professor Peng Gao.
