In this role you will own the Health and Safety function for our data centers, working with engineers, security, construction, operations, and compliance teams to improve safety culture and protect our employees.
You will partner with contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve safety goals and advocate safe changes in a rapidly evolving environment.
ResponsibilitiesImplement health and safety standards, policies and practices, including safety management systems, training, risk assessments, industrial hygiene assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct health and safety audits of data centers and construction sites to ensure compliance with health, safety, and life?safety requirements.
Ensure implementation of global health and safety programs that exceed regulatory requirements.
Develop health and safety plans for on?site emergencies, business continuity, and unique events.
Maintain safety record keeping and data integrity.
Perform data trend analysis for cluster leadership to support business and safety initiatives.
Consult and partner with the AWS compliance team for interpretations and guidance.
Identify risks and partner with Operations to remediate via the hierarchy of controls.
Interact daily with customers to deliver health and safety guidance.
Basic Qualifications4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk or loss?prevention experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience handling confidential information.
Preferred QualificationsASP or CSP certification preferred.
Data Center safety experience.
The base salary range for this position is $55,*
* – $97,*
* USD annually.
Your package will include sign?on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and parental leave.
