Senior mobile engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to the evolution of our mobile architecture
• Own the full mobile development lifecycle, from implementation to release and monitoring
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability and user experience
• Promote best practices around code quality, testing, security and maintainability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve our mobile delivery process
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend and Platform teams in an Agile environment
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical hiring and knowledge sharing
• Explore and leverage AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience developing production-grade mobile applications with Flutter and Dart
• Solid understanding of state management approaches (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider or similar)
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON-based services
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, clean architecture and design patterns
• Experience with automated testing (unit, widget and integration tests)
• Familiarity with Git, collaborative development workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Passion for building high-quality products and continuously improving engineering practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
• Experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows
• Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English
• Valid work permit to work in Italy

Nice to Have

• Experience with native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin)
• Experience in FinTech, Banking or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with Firebase
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Previous experience working in Agile product teams

Gross annual salary range: €45,000–€65,000
