About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Global Pricing Strategy & Southern Europe Market Access professional to join our Market Access team. The role will focus on enabling effective market access, pricing, and reimbursement for Pharmanovia’s specialty portfolio across secondary care, with particular responsibility for Italy and Spain, as well as selected global projects. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering Market Access strategies, developing payer and government relationships, supporting pricing and reimbursement submissions, and identifying innovative solutions that help optimise patient access to Pharmanovia’s medicines. Working across a matrix organisation, you will collaborate closely with Medical, Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and Business Development teams. You will also engage with government bodies, payers, hospitals, buying groups, regional pharmacies and other healthcare stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong Market Access expertise, commercial awareness, stakeholder management and the ability to translate complex healthcare, pricing and reimbursement considerations into practical business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Market Access strategy for Pharmanovia products across Italy and Spain, while contributing to relevant global Market Access projects.
  • Lead and support pricing and reimbursement activities for key Pharmanovia products, ensuring submissions are appropriately planned, prepared and delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, payers, and other healthcare decision-makers at the national, regional, and local levels.
  • Support national HTA submissions and pricing strategies, coordinating activities with local and regional stakeholders to optimise patient access.
  • Manage and support pricing and reimbursement projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring clear milestones, ownership and delivery.
  • Develop and implement market access solutions that support business objectives and respond to the needs of healthcare systems and payers.
  • Support contracting activities with hospitals, buying groups, regional pharmacies and government bodies.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and access messages in collaboration with Medical, Commercial, and other global functions, tailored to different stakeholder groups, including payers, clinicians, pharmacists, and policymakers.
  • Provide strategic insight into payer value drivers, healthcare system priorities, pricing trends, and the evolving Market Access environment across Italy and Spain.
  • Contribute to new product launch planning, ensuring Market Access and pricing considerations are incorporated early and effectively.
  • Support reimbursement dossier development and submissions, using appropriate clinical, health-economic and market evidence.
  • Identify clinical data gaps and support the development of Global Value Dossiers (GVDs) and related value evidence.
  • Apply health-economic insight to strengthen Market Access strategies, value propositions and reimbursement approaches.
  • Analyse complex Market Access, pricing and reimbursement issues, identifying the key commercial and strategic implications for the business.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Development, and Medical teams to ensure Market Access priorities align with broader business strategies.

Qualifications

  • At least 5-8 years’ experience in country-level Market Access within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
