This role will support the implementation of the Copeland Business System (CBS) and Lean Manufacturing practices at our Belluno site, helping drive Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations. The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve processes, increase productivity, and support operational excellence initiatives. This job is based in Belluno, Italy, and regular on-site presence is required.
Salary:
€30,000
- €38,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.##
Key Responsibilities
of the Role
* Support the implementation and development of the Copeland Business System (CBS) and monitor continuous improvement actions and performance KPIs.
* Participate in and progressively facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and structured problem-solving techniques.
* Support cross-functional projects by tracking activities, timelines, and results related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity objectives.
* Contribute to Cost Reduction initiatives through process optimization, waste elimination, standardization, and automation activities.
* Support Lean Daily Management routines and performance review processes, ensuring follow-up and completion of improvement actions.
* Analyze manufacturing processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies, variability, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
* Assist in developing and maintaining standard work procedures and support the adoption of Lean principles across operational teams.
* Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.## Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* 1-2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Management within a manufacturing environment.
* Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Good organizational and project coordination skills.
* Proactive mindset, strong results orientation, and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
* Native Italian and intermediate English language skills are mandatory.## Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* Experience facilitating Kaizen events or continuous improvement workshops.
* Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, VSM, Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, work measurement, time studies, and methods analysis.
* Familiarity with performance metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
* Exposure to automation or process optimization projects.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to influence change and support a continuous improvement culture.## About the
