From day one, you will take on an active role within the team, working on real projects and business opportunities and directly contributing to our activities. Your learning journey will combine hands-on experience, mentoring, technical training, and exposure to customers and our international organization.

Your growth journey
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will progressively build your expertise while also taking part in common learning experiences with the other graduates joining the program.
You will have the opportunity to:
  • Learn how our Electrification & Automation business works, from customer needs and proposal development to engineering, project execution and service;
  • Develop your skills through structured technical, business and soft-skills training, combined with mentoring and continuous feedback;
  • Work on real customer projects with experienced colleagues and collaborate across functions and international teams;
  • Visit customer installations and projects, under construction and in operation, while progressively taking ownership of activities and responsibilities as you grow in the role;
  • Visit our international manufacturing and competence centers, including our switchgear factory in Frankfurt and our protection and automation competence center in Berlin.
You’ll make an impact by:
Project Engineering Manager
You will develop the skills required to become a technical reference point within our projects, connecting customer requirements with engineering solutions.
During your apprenticeship, you will progressively learn to:
  • Translate customer requirements into engineering activities while supporting the coordination of technical disciplines and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project scope, progress, milestones and costs, helping ensure alignment between customers, engineering teams and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical distribution, protection, automation and digital solutions in collaboration with engineers, suppliers, factories and customers.
  • Support technical discussions, testing and commissioning activities, proactively identifying challenges and contributing to effective solutions.
Project Manager
You will develop the skills required to coordinate projects and bring together customers, internal teams and partners to achieve a common objective.
During your apprenticeship, you will progressively learn to:
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Procurement, Field Service, Finance and other functions to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication;
  • Support project execution by monitoring milestones, deadlines, costs, risks and opportunities, while contributing to commercial and contractual activities.
  • Support project planning and execution, gradually taking ownership of defined activities and work packages.
  • Work closely with customers and internal partners to address challenges, set priorities and understand how project decisions impact customer satisfaction and business performance.
Proposal Manager
You will learn how customer needs are transformed into competitive technical and commercial solutions.
During your apprenticeship, you will progressively learn to:
  • Analyze customer requirements and tender documentation to develop tailored technical and commercial proposals.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Procurement and Service teams, to develop solutions and coordinate contributions from different stakeholders.
  • Support proposal development through cost estimation, pricing and commercial analysis, while assessing risks, opportunities and process improvements.
  • Interact with customers to understand requirements, support solution development and follow opportunities from the initial customer request through to project handover.
Business Development Analyst
You will develop the analytical and commercial skills required to understand our markets, discover opportunities and support the growth of our Customer Service business.
