We’re currently looking for an experienced Regional EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety performance across multiple construction and engineering projects throughout Italy.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can drive EHS standards across a regional portfolio, support project teams, and promote a strong safety culture across complex construction environments, including mission‑critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support EHS teams across multiple projects throughout Italy.
- Monitor regional EHS performance, KPIs, audits, incidents and compliance.
- Ensure consistent implementation of EHS management systems across all projects.
- Lead serious incident investigations and oversee corrective and preventative actions.
- Conduct regional audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement.
- Advise senior management, project teams, clients and contractors on EHS matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Italian health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Develop and deliver training, safety initiatives and improvement programmes.
- Support tenders, prequalification submissions and client engagements.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities and key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
- 10+ years’ EHS experience within construction, engineering, MEP or related industries.
- Previous experience in a senior EHS leadership role, ideally overseeing multiple projects or locations.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and applicable construction safety regulations.
- Proven experience in audits, incident investigations and EHS management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional membership of IOSH or an equivalent body would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel across Italy as required.
Location:
Milan, Italy, with regional travel.
Salary:
€90,000–€110,000 per annum, plus additional package benefits, depending on experience.
